My first draft of picks had me choosing Kerber over Jabeur, but I should know better. While it would be great for her to win and get a career slam, I don't see that happening. Still, I'm mentioning it here because if she does go and win it all, I want to be able to say that I knew it could happen.
My men's picks were possibly the easiest that I've ever done. Alcaraz can show that he lives up to the hype and break my losing streak in this contest.

Totally agree about the men's picks. Did not even have to look at the other names in the draw for the first seven quarterfinalists. The bottom eighth is a crap shoot. I would not be surprised at all if Alcaraz wins. Nadal will win if his foot stays OK, but that is doubtful.
EDIT: obviously I meant to have Jabeur in the final but wrote Krejcikova. It doesn't matter now since they both lost in the first round.

Tsitsipas goes out to Rune, and perhaps my entire chances in the contest depend on Stephens beating Gauff.

Stephens will beat Gauff.
EDIT: In that case you re in trouble because I expect Gauff to win 7-5, 6-2 despite having double-fault issues in the second set.
