Sabalenka's quarter is the weakest one I can recall ever seeing in a slam. Had Gauff not been in the same section, Kerber would have been my substitute pick, and I will probably regret not making her mine.

Although we both like Kerber, this has to be the first time I've predicted her to go farther than you have, although her recent form in slams indicates she will lose to a resurgent Konjuh in the second round. The truth is I have no clue what will happen with the women. I think about 30 have a legit shot, but all of them have a better chance of losing in the first week than winning the tourney. It's the most wide open draw ever.

I think Kerber is going to win the tournament.
Maybe she will revert to her form of the last few years, but on grass, she's better than anyone she will face the rest of the way.

Your much better picks beat me by a mile. I feel like I am the Kournikova to your Hingis. "What rivalry? I win all the matches."
