    First time slam winners - Cilic and Wawrinka beat the odds
    Djokovic - won Wimbledon and ended the year as #1.  That's a good year no matter what happened the rest of it.
    Switzerland Davis Cup team - the first Davis Cup for the country

    Nadal - another year, another long stretch of time he's injured

    Serena - her 19th slam

    Jeers
    Sharapova - played Serena tough in the AO final but lost
    Murray - another AO final, now 0-4 in AO finals
