Nobody has mentioned this (or maybe they mentioned it during the French Open), but this year was the 10th year that Nadal played the French Open.  During that time, Roger Federer is the only other man to win the title at Roland Garros, and Robin Soderling is the only man to beat Nadal there.

Interesting fact, possibly only to me: with the exceptions of the French Open and the US Open, Nadal has a losing record in finals at the other two slams (1 win, 2 losses at the Australian Open and 2 wins, 3 losses at Wimbledon).
