What does Federer's Dubai win mean?

Other than a boost of points to his ranking, he had wins over Djokovic and Berdych.  Combined with comments, it seems that Federer is feeling good and has his game where he wants it.

I'm not sure if he'll ever beat Nadal again (I'd guess against it), but when combined with the victory over Murray at the AO, this looks to be a good year for him with last year as an abberation.

I think he'll reach the final of Wimbledon and the semis of the U.S. Open. Not confident about him making a deep run at Roland Garros, though.

So, I can almost copy and paste the original post, with the exception of having a good substitute for Berdych.  Coric might be a future contender (not sure about that), but Federer demolished him.

Does the final of Wimbledon and semis of the U.S. Open seem reasonable at this point in time?
