I'm not surprised that the Czech Republic won; without Tipsy or Troicki to back him up, Djokovic wasn't going to be in a position to win all the points by himself.

And this may seem like a pointless message, but if the board is inactive for a month, it goes away.

Pointless post. Djokovic should have played doubles. Was Serbia's only chance.

Is this the year that Switzerland wins the Davis Cup? I think it's pretty likely.

Seems like a virtual lock if the Swiss guys stay healthy. Federer has committed to playing the entire year, and Berdych will play only home ties for two-time defending champ Czech Republic.

France is always dangerous, but I can't see any lineup the French using being able to win 3 of 5 from Federer and Wawrinka. None of the other remaining countries are relevant.

I wasn't expecting Kazakhstan to take a 2-1 lead over Switzerland. The Czech Republic would have lost to Japan if Nishikori didn't hurt himself.
