Indian Wells 2022

Thought we might have something that's not involving a slam for once.

The video below is highlights from the Halep d. Gauff 3rd round match.

I have to ask, what are the criteria that's being used for these highlights?  I feel like 90% of that video is Gauff winning points until we get to the end when Halep wins.  Were the points that Halep won just not particularly exciting or because Gauff made too many errors?  I am legitimately curious about what's going on with those decisions, since watching the highlights would make me think that Gauff is going to win if I wasn't paying attention to the score or knew the outcome ahead of time.

Re: Indian Wells 2022

Injured Taylor Fritz beats injured Rafael Nadal for his first Master's 1000 trophy and rises to 13 in the rankings.  Is this the continuation of his rise up in the ATP, or is it a one-off?  I'd like to think it's the start of him challenging for big events.  I think it's time for a new face to be added to the list of "new faces".

Re: Indian Wells 2022

I have never been a believer in Fritz.

Although I like his professionalism and effort, he does not move well enough to be a slam contender in my opinion.
