And of course, Lisicki still has to win the match. 

After watching today's semis, I'm convinced Bartoli would have beaten Radwanska despite her 0-7 record against her. Her return vs. Radwanska's serve would have been an epic mismatch. Lisicki is much more inconsistent on return. But Bartoli's return will only help help her Saturday if Lisicki misses a lot of first serves. No one can handle her serve when it's cooking. 

I was pulling for Bartoli, too, for the same reasons. Doubt she'll have another chance. Lisicki will be a contender at Wimbledon every year for the rest of her career. 

I would not be surprised if Bartoli goes a long way at the U.S. Open. She's a streaky player and will have zero pressure coming off her Wimbledon high. She really does look like Seles on the rare times when her game is fully clicking.
